The Perception and the relashionship of visually handicapped people; guiding the special teachers

ABSTRACT: This paper tries to find a way to guide the training of visualiy handicapped people. Based on Merieau-Ponty, who considers the perception originated by knowledge, a research was with visualiy handicapped people was developed in three state schools in São Paulo. The phenomenological analysis of concrete situations found in these schools showed us possibilities and limitations for these children. This analysis permitted a project with guidelines for the training of visually handicapped persons.
