Influences of adapted furniture in the performance of students with spastic cerebral palsy: considerations on the specialized literature

ABSTRACT: The objective of this text was to discuss criteria to choose furniture to the student with spastic cerebral palsy and consequently to evaluate the position from the used furniture. As a theoric support we made a broad review of specific literature on furniture. From this review we made considerations of adapted furniture and the biological consequences in the position of children and teenagers with spastic cerebral palsy.
