ABSTRACT: The present paper introduces some concepts about perception, visual perception as well as visual and hearing process. With this text reabilitation and special education professionals can reflect about the resources in visual perception. In the presented researches you could verify the preoccupation of certain authors on possible alterations of visual perception that could interfere in the global development of deaf children; other authors studying the changes in visual process due to the deafness verified possible interference of the enviroment sensorial input in final cerebral organization to cognitive process.
